I began DJing alongside my brother in high school. We did not have any real DJ equipment at the time and barely knew what we were doing. We just knew that we enjoyed blending two songs together.

 

We borrowed my father’s vinyl record collection and his turntables. To my father’s dismay borrowing his equipment would become a regular occurrence. We practiced scratching and blending music until we became really good at it. Now I have my own DJ equipment.
